Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog!

I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University, with an expected graduation of December 2025. I currently hold the (ISC)² Certified In Cybersecurity (CC) and CompTIA A+ certifications, with plans to obtain the CompTIA Network+ and Security+ later this year.

I’m a passionate advocate for cybersecurity and digital privacy, and enjoy working on various technical projects in my free time. I’ve taken to creating this blog as a means to help document and develop those projects, as well as share general opinions/ideas involving different technical domains.

I hope you enjoy these posts, and I look forward to receiving any and all feedback. Thanks for being here!

Use Cases

To better explain the content I’ll be posting here, I’ve made a generalized list of topics, some of which have already been added in the navigation bar. Regardless, those are not entirely inclusive or descriptive. I find myself hesitant to specialize this platform, as to avoid limiting my options in terms of variety (scope creep be damned). At the very least, here’s a more extensive rundown (in no particular order) of what I plan on posting for each topic. Just use the drop-down to view more info on the respective categories:

These categories represent topics I find interesting or frequently interact with. They are subject to change, and I can’t promise all of them will get the same attention as others (looking at you, homelab - we’re balling on a budget here), but I find myself eager to share my thoughts and experiences with them. In support of transparency, I must stress that my experience levels differ between domains. Regardless, I think subjects I have less experience with are still viable topics to explore from the perspective of a beginner. I gain valuable experience with new topics and technologies, and the reader can learn from my examinations of the positives and negatives of that experience. All that said, the topics comprising the majority of my experience (e.g. cybersecurity, digital privacy, labs/projects) will more than likely comprise the bulk of my posts.

Closing

At the end of the day, my whole purpose in creating this so-called “blog” was to designate a place to rant, ramble, and just generally geek out - no holds bard (also for professional purposes… hey hiring managers!). All jokes aside, this will realistically function as a glorified pastebin where I can offload all the stuff I want to talk about, without having to burden my family, friends and girlfriend with following along (love you guys, I know you try <3)

I’d like to thank any and all of you who took the time to read this. It means a lot that you took an interest, and I hope to post some cool stuff soon. For now, do me a favor and bookmark/save this site, as I’ll be posting updates moving forward. Hashnode (the platform I’m leveraging to host/create this blog) provides a newsletter function for regular email updates, but I would rather forgo that… those are annoying, right? Anyways, feel free to check-in whenever you have the time!
